Yogurt Sauces

A compendium of different yogurt sauces from various world cuisines.

Tzatziki:

  • 1 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup diced seedless cucumber
  • 1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Raita:

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped seeded English hothouse cucumber
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 teaspoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
